Pragmatic Energy is developing a unique cloud based 'Internet of Things' (IoT) monitoring and optimisation platform for low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps. With the urgent need to decarbonise heat in the UK and other markets, dramatic growth in the adoption of these systems is required. Pragmatic Energy's platform can accelerate this adoption by enhancing the overall value proposition for heat pumps - using remote data collection and cloud based algorithms to ensure that they are appropriately sized and specified for the application, well installed and commissioned, optimally operated to deliver comfort and running cost and CO2 savings, well maintained and able to respond flexibly to the needs of electricity network operators. The focus of this project will be to deliver a production ready version of the platform. This will allow us to deliver first commercial sales of platform services in early 2023\.
